Aurèle Legault (Alphonsine Chevrier) a fait construire cette maison. Il a eu un fils unique Maurice Legault. (Anna Pilon). ( Au début le logement du haut a été occupé pendant la crise économique. Ensuite la famille a occupé le 8080 de Gaspé. J’ai passé mon enfance et fréquenté l’école Hèlène Boullée avec ma sœur Diane Legault . Une ruelle séparait l’accès à l’école. La maison a été vendue au dècès de mes parents. Les vitraux de façade ont disparus pour des fenêtres en aluminium, les colonnes blanches ont également été changées pour l’aluminium. La clôture de fer forgée est demeurée intacte à part sa couleur de verte foncée pour un beige pâle.
