My grandmother Ida Maeder (Nostrand) was born on W 83rd Street in 1885, I think on the corner of West Avenue, as was her brother Howard in 1887. They moved to Jamaica, Queens in 1888. Here's a picture from her old photo album of where she was born. Peter F. Nostrand
