Isn't this the wrong photo? The address on the awning says 42 Mulberry.
There was an Italian import store named Serafino Piana at the address around 1900.
I remember Vesey Street before the trade tower. It was the best place in Manhattan to get deals from small independent job lot companies. Wish I could see some videos.?
