This information was found in Trow's New York City Directories, in the 1856 directory on page 69, in the 1859 directory on page 165 for John S Conger. For Leander Robinson , he is found in the 1859 directory page 680 and in the 1862 directory on page 722 (copies of the directories are found on Google Books). Are there maps for this time frame of ~1860?
